The Sidrap wind farm is Indonesia’s first utility scale wind farm. It began providing power to the Southern Sulawesi PLN grid in March 2018, playing a significant role in Indonesia’s goal of reaching 23 percent renewable energy use by 2025, and 31 percent by 2050.

Improving Community Roads In Lainungan and Lawawoi communities in Indonesia, the Sidrap Wind project team upgraded the roads that act as the main access of the villagers to their farmlands. This is to support the local community to have better road facilities to run their agricultural activities, thereby providing better economic opportunities for the community through improved efficiencies.
Sidrap Wind Farm Tourism Centre
The Sidrap Wind Farm Tourism Centre aims to promote Sidrap as a new iconic tourist destination, providing an opportunity to integrate economic, environmental, and cultural sustainability that will be packaged with other tourism destinations in Sidrap Regency and South Sulawesi Province.
Kencana Park
To promote sustainable green spaces and to increase public awareness about caring for the environment, the Sidrap Wind project team carried out improvement works at the Kencana Park.
