Jinbi Solar is Yindjibarndi Energy Corporation’s first solar development, located on a greenfield site within Exclusive Native Title land in the Yindjibarndi Native Title Determination Area in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

The project comprises an initial 102 MWdc (75 MWac) solar photovoltaic (PV) array, with potential expansion to up to 204 MWdc (150MWac), and an option to integrate a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Jinbi is being developed to provide clean, reliable energy while embedding Indigenous leadership, ownership and long-term benefit on Yindjibarndi Country.

The project reached Financial Close in May 2026, confirming that all key funding, approvals and contractual arrangements are in place. Following Financial Close, construction has commenced, with early site works already underway.
