The project, which is currently in its early development phase, is ACEN’s first hybrid wind-solar and round-the-clock asset that will deliver clean and dispatchable higher CUF power to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in Maharashtra, India. Hybridization optimizes multiple renewable technologies mix to meet customers’ load requirements. The project is a result of ACEN’s partnership with US-based power company BrightNight. The collaboration aims to develop over 1.2 GW hybrid renewable energy portfolio to help India progress towards its energy transition goal.

In June 2024, ACEN International president and CEO Patrice Clausse visited our Maharashtra C&I Hybrid Solar-Wind project site in India and witnessed the remarkable transformation underway. A partnership with BrightNight, this 100 MW hybrid solar-wind project promises significant benefits to commercial and industrial enterprises as well as to the local community through job creation, skill development, and infrastructure enhancement, key elements of ACEN’s growth strategy.
