The 70 MWdc (50 MWac) Paryapt Solar is set in the Amreli District of the State of Gujarat, one of the first states to develop solar generation in India, leading the nation in installed renewable energy capacity with over 50 GW in installed projects as of July 2026. The US$38 million solar facility started its power generation in April 2021 and has been supplying energy to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL).

  • ACENs 210 MWp maiden solar farms in India begin operations

    12 August 2021 – Joint venture company, UPC-AC Energy Solar, achieves a significant milestone, with 300 MW more of solar assets scheduled for construction.

    In July 2020, UPC-AC Energy Solar announced the commencement of construction of Sitara Solar located in the Jodhpur District of the State of Rajasthan, a desert state with the highest irradiation in India, that will supply energy to the Solar Energy Corporation of India. This was followed closely by the start of construction of Paryapt Solar, a solar farm set in the Amreli District of the State of Gujarat, one of the first states to develop solar generation capacity in the country.
