Maibarara Geothermal’s phase 1 was successfully commissioned in February 2014 while its Phase 2 went online in 2018. Both units showcase stable geothermal power that is virtually unaffected by weather or other factors. Maibaraba Geothermal was the first Renewable project under the Philippine’s Renewable Act of 2008.
