Marking its first major investment in India, the 140 MWdc (100 MWac) Sitara Solar plant is a US$65 million solar facility located in Rajasthan, a desert state with the highest irradiation in the country. It started power generation in May 2021, and is under a long-term PPA with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
