Stubbo Solar is a 520 MWdc (400 MWac) large-scale solar project approved by the New South Wales Department of Planning, Industry and Environment in July 2021. It is built across 1,250 hectares of mostly cleared grazing land in the Central West region of NSW.

  • ACEN secures its largest syndicated green term loan facility for Australia platform


    6 January 2023 – ACEN Australia, signed a syndicated green term loan facility with major international banks worth a total of AU$277 million, the platform’s largest green term loan facility to date. The loan will provide capital financing for ACEN’s renewable energy portfolio in Australia, which will be a significant contributor to the company’s strategic aspiration to grow its renewables capacity to 20 GW by 2030.

  • ACEN Australia presses GO on Stubbo Solar Project


    10 November 2022 – Stubbo Solar was granted development consent in June 2021 by the NSW Government’s Department of Planning and Environment. With construction due to commence in late 2022, Stubbo Solar is expected to create up to 400 jobs during construction and up to 10 ongoing jobs, generating many contracting opportunities for local businesses.
